Taiwan

Project Manager

Full Time

  • Create and drive the product development from design start through to production release as per agreed timelines.
  • Monitor the project progress and report the status on a weekly basis.
  • Create and maintain project plan in collaboration with the technical project leaders
  • The position requires 8 or more years experience, preferably in project management role in a consumer goods manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Project monitoring and coordination of cross functional deliverables and plans.
  • Regular reporting on project status and deviations to the plan
  • Give early warning for any critical issue arising during the project
  • Preparation & update of the overall product development schedule & milestone plan in collaboration with cross functional groups
  • Prepare and coordinate all Milestone meetings
  • Organization & documentation of project related meetings.
  • Ensure meeting minutes are created and that all actions are addressed as outcomes to project meetings.
  • Risk analysis and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate external engineering resources when needed.
  • Drive accountability from through the different functional groups, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Software Eng, Test Eng, Quality Eng, and Product Mgnt teams thru the respective phases.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Exceptional skills to keep projects on time and on budget
  • Deep knowledge of Consumer Product Development phases for high volume production
  • Exceptional communication skills with good written and verbal English
  • MS Office, Google Apps skills essential
  • Ability to co-ordinate multi-site multi-disciplined project teams; strong inter-personal skills
  • Proactive and motivated

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years project management experience
  • Degree in engineering or science
  • Industry experience in the application of project management techniques

Lead Electrical Engineer

Full Time

  • Leads multiple project teams of electrical engineers for various products.
  • Communicates between customers and ODMs and manage communications around development from engineers to leadership.
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to staff members.
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in electrical hardware design.
  • Identifies resources needed and works closely with teams to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks.

Preferred Experience

  • Great written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • A self-starter and ability to prioritize and translate high level requirements into actionable milestones.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Significant experience in working with ODMs and vendors.
  • It will be better having experience in RF and antenna field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years experience in electronic product design.
  • 5+ years experience in leading teams.

Electrical Engineer

Full Time

  • Works directly with the worldwide customers and ODMs’ engineering team for product execution.
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities with expertise.
  • Organizes prototyping and testing with hardware engineering teams of ODMs.
  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications and test plans, with ODMs.
  • Leads and provides expertise to ODM project teams and may participate in cross-functional activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to debug highly technical problems on various projects.

Preferred Experience

  • Good English communication skills.
  • Experience in RF field, better with antenna expertise.
  • Experience in working with ODMs and vendors.
  • Expert in hardware design where expert debugging and root-cause analysis is a necessary skill.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years experience in electrical hardware design.

Mechanical Engineer

Full Time

  • Looking for a highly motivated senior mechanical engineering to join the product design group. You will be part of a cross-functional leadership team responsible for conceiving, designing and producing exciting new products.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct management of product development engineering teams

  • Innovative thinking, high motivation and energy 3-D CAD skills helpful
  • Pro-engineer fluency
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers

Requirements

  • BSME required, MS Preferred
  • 8 or more years experience in product design
  • 2 or more years experience in leading development teams
  • Strong understanding with manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, stamping, casting, and machining
  • Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing
  • Experience designing products for the consumer electronics industry
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment
  • Mass production experience
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (TOEIC 550)
